Olympus have brought out a Limited Edition of my panels, printed on 'Autumn colours' Kofu Tsumugi. This listing is for the kamon crest (family crest) panel, with large and small motifs. It is a limited edition and there are no plans to repeat the print run. I have the plain version of this kofu tsumugi fabric in stock as well. The other two limited edition colourways for the 2019 kamon are mustard yellow and russett. If you would like one of these, don't wait - they are not repeatable!
A selection of ready to stitch kamon crest sashiko patterns adapted from my book 'Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match', hand printed by Olympus Thread Mfg. Co. in Japan on their beautiful Kofu Tsumugi 100% cotton (coloured warp, black weft, with tiny slubs). Also available in indigo blue, deep red, dark green, ink black, grey (taupe) and light blue (slate blue) - click here to view. Each stitch is clearly marked, so they are easy to sew.
Each hand-printed pattern is washed away with water and disappears, leaving no mark on the work. Do not prewash your panel, or all your marks will disappear! The panel's squares are 9 1/2in (24cm) and 4 1/2in (11.5cm) approx. They can be cut up and used like quilt blocks or stitched as a whole panel (it looks good if the cutting lines are left unsewn). The possibilities are endless!

NB - international shipping* is temporarily disabled. New shipping rates by weight will be coming soon!
*EU shipping can only resume when the EU simplifies its VAT regulations on mail orders. Please complain to your MEP to try to change the regs for small non EU businesses! We can't calculate, charge and remit the different amounts of VAT to all 27 EU countries four times a year, when we are one person businesses. It is too much admin and too expensive to employ an EU based agent as currently required.
